I am collecting unusual designs of products, interior or home decor. In this article, I would like to introduce you to three unusual shelves I found on the Internet, and I expect you to tell me which one is your favorite.

This bookshelf has a unique feature. The angle attached to the wall is unusual, but really practical. Books and magazines will be “floating” securely and that makes the bookshelf special. The bookshelf is simple and made with wood using darker wood stains, which is a wonderful solution for your farmhouse or summerhouse.

Concrete brackets and oak by Wild+Wood

The main twist of this shelf is actually not the solid untreated 1.2m oak shelf itself, but two concrete wall brackets made using granite aggregates from Leicestershire (United Kingdom), treated with beeswax to give it a slight sheen and a soft touch. LED lights are also available for the shelving.

Handmade rustic chain shelf with beech finish. If you want to bring a bit of drama to your room’s interior, rustic materials are the way to go. This shelf looks rough, the metal chain and the thick beech brings this oomph that you are looking for. The shelf is handcrafted from reclaimed wood, which means there are no two similar shelves due to minor dents, grooves, cracks or notches in the wood. Available in sizes of 10cm (4 inches) increments.
