Amazon finds to keep your home office setup clean
9 October, 2023The time has come! After months of work, I am thrilled to announce the launch of a landing page! First, check the page directly – ommik.com. Then, don’t forget to come back here to continue reading what has been made and how.
Launch of a landing page
First things first
Did you subscribe to get notified when the service is fully launched? Not yet? Well, I am going to wait until you do. You can click on the “Notify me” button, which will scroll down to the form, where you can submit your email address and name (optionally).

Welcome back. Now, since we all set, I will continue.
Landing page
It took me countless tries to produce this result. I decided to go with a one-page solution, where every important piece of information is on the same page. Some other pages, such as Privacy Policy, Terms and Condition, Imprint etc are the only ones that are separated from the page, and you can read them (but I am sure you won’t as nobody does).
Let’s start with the very top.
Header
I kept the header of the page clean. Apart from the logo, link to this blog and other links will scroll you to the part of the page, the language picker, there is nothing more. For the mobile version I kept it even simpler – logo and a language picker. This makes sense to me and doesn’t need to be overwhelmed with other items.
Above the fold
The part of the landing page that is immediately visible is the most important thing there is. Any user who lands on the page will only spend a few seconds to decide if the page is interesting to them or not. Therefore, the copy should be clear, the visual should be capturing.
The title must explain the value Ommik provides. I wrote “Create your perfect home office setup in seconds“, which sends a clear message about what value my service brings to the customers. The subtitle explains how exactly the service creates value and sets the right expectations: “Elevate the aesthetic of your home office. Design your perfect workspace with the power of AI or MOODBOARD. We’ll bring it to life, deliver, and assemble it for you!“
The visual is the collage of home office workstations that are possible to order or rent in the future.
Finally, I added a Notify me button, which scrolls to the form and adds users to the list of those who will get an email notification when we launch the service fully. What is special about this form is that it also saves the language of the site users subscribe to. Currently there are only German and English versions. Therefore, the notification we will send off will also be in the language of a user.
Below the fold

In the “How it works” section I wrote 3 simple steps of the process to get your perfect home office setup.
In the “Services” section I listed 9 services that users can get from Ommik.
In the “Compare solutions” section I wanted to make sure users will choose the right tools to configure their workstation: AI-generated and Moodboard.
Finally, in the “FAQ” section you can find some answers to your questions.
Footer
At the very bottom of the landing page, you can see the footer that has social media icons, contact options, company pages and services pages. Many links are disabled for now, as the service is not launched yet, but eventually it all will be enabled.
Now, what do you think about the landing page? Any feedback would be super appreciated!
