Home office culture became the hottest topic in recent years for a well-known reason. For office plankton like myself, it is so important to have a comfortable corner at home where you spend 8 hours a day. The home office VORSTAND fixes my biggest problems of the home office – it doesn’t take up space in my small apartment.
Home office VORSTAND is designed by Nils Holger Moormann. The beauty of this piece of furniture is that it takes up nearly no space and looks elegant next to the wall when closed. When unfolded, it looks like a private pod packed with functionality in addition to shelves, lights and a table.
The opened ceiling creates a feeling of space, provides light and connects the essentials. Following Moormann’s principle of order, everything has its place here: from pens to books to files. You have chargers for your devices and cables can be stowed away. A curtain can be added to the side, and the ceiling and workplace lighting can be individually regulated. It’s about thinking big from the small.
Surfaces and materials are reduced to the essentials: solid ash wood and light beige linoleum. Black surfaces should not distract.
Closed: 37,5 x 95,0 x 230,0 cm
Unfolded: 170,0 x 95,0 x 230,0 cm

The entire unit has a price of 8.320 € and will be available for purchase from late Autumn 2021 in the shop moormann.de (German).
