Have you heard the latest news from IKEA? To celebrate the 80th-year anniversary of design heritage, a new collection was launched with the fresh look of IKEA iconic designs. In the collection NYTILLVERKAD you can find vintage IKEA’s products with the modern, bold and loud colors.
The collection stays true to the original designs but reinvents them in striking shades and updated materials, resulting in a range of products that dares to be truly timeless.
The most iconic and popular product is LÖVET side-table, which was introduced back in 1956 (wow, that’s when my dad just turned 1 year old). Renamed to LÖVBACKEN and getting orange, blue, and light green colors with an ash veneer top.
Other fantastic products with new look are DOMSTEN stool (based on JERRY stool design), featuring a pine top and metal legs, BONDSKÄRET coat stand (based on SMED coat stand design), KULTURSKOG plant stand (which was introduced in 1957 as a round super low table), TUVKORNELL candle holders and finally KRYPKORNELL pattern (firstly introduced in 1980 as a cover of KLIPPAN sofa) in textile products, such as cushion covers, bedding and some kitchen accessories.
Bold colors are getting momentum and could be a wonderful addition to your home to make it more fun and enjoyable.
