During the Easter holidays, since we all are searching for eggs, I want to introduce you to a unique piece of the interior – the egg mirror. It is a functional and minimalist mirror by designer Teun Fleskens. As part of the Entrance Collection by RiZZ, the egg-shaped mirror embellishes entrance areas with a timeless silhouette and elegant materials.
Teun Fleskens is a product and interior designer. In a few words, his style could be described as experimental, communicating, pure, natural versus industrial and clearly present but not demanding.
The egg mirror
The egg mirror is composed of a round mirror surface and an egg-shaped wooden base, which is available in coated MDF, cedar or teak wood. The teak version is also suitable for outdoor use. A round opening allows the mirror to be hung, it can for example be hung on the Trumpet hook offered by the same brand.
And for more functionality, the egg mirror can be combined with “The Cabinet” key cabinet. For the latter, the mirror acts as an elegant ‘cover’ that can simply be slid to the side. With and without accessories, the Egg mirror by Rizz is a discreet yet elegant piece of wall decoration for the hallway and entrance areas.
We, therefore, have the choice between keeping a simple version of the mirror or “customizing” it to transform it into an elegant key cabinet. The Egg is available in 4 colours: anthracite grey, white, cedar and teak.
Dimensions: 62,5 x 52 cm, 2 cm depth.
Weight: 3,08 kg.
You can purchase the mirror at the price of 215,10 € (including delivery) on Connox.
