Video of the week: Top 10 IKEA hacks you should try
15 August, 2022By any chance, have you checked my previous Ikea hacks posts “5 amazing IKEA hacks in 2022” (links are at the end of this post), which became my biggest and absolute hits in the history of this blog? So why not continue the fun, right? In this post, I am going to share 5 more IKEA hacks that might capture your attention and who knows, inspire you for some change at home!
5 amazing IKEA hacks in 2022. Part 4
Hack 1. MOSSLANDA shelf into a nightstand
MOSSLANDA shelf could not only be used to display your pictures and home decor items, but also you can create an illuminated nightstand for the bed. Make the most of the smart home and control your nightstand light with your voice (see how to make your home smart)!

Hack 2. TJUSIG hanger into a lid holder
This hack doesn’t require any DIYing. It is all about re-purposing the existing item. TJUSIG hanger can be easily used as a lid holder in the kitchen. It is a brilliant idea and how come I didn’t come up with it myself?

Hack 3. TRAMPA doormat into a customized doormat
I know… turning a doormat into… a doormat. Doesn’t sound too “hacky”, does it? Bit this TRAMPA doormat is a wonderful canvas to explore your creativity. You can draw or write whatever you want to welcome guests.

Hack 4. FRAKTA bag into a picnic blanket
This is my favorite hack in this batch. I mean, seriously, how amazing the idea is, upcycling an old FRAKTA bag (also known as IKEA blue bag) that we all have at home into something so summer-related, a picnic blanket! Practice your sewing skills and make sure next time you go to meet friends in the park, bring it with you! A conversation-starter 100%!

Hack 5. ORDNING cutlery stand into a toilet paper holder
ORNING cutlery stand is a common item from IKEA in our homes. But another way to use it (a bit more creative than I thought) is to lay a few of them together and voila! A toilet paper holder! How amazing the roll fits in!

Which hack was your favorite? Let me know in the comment section below.
